Lavonne "Bonnie" Lois Case

Surrounded by the love of her family, she took her final breath with grace and peace. Beloved wife of the late Jim Case (1995), she was the loving and devoted mother of Sherry Hill (George Hill). A proud and cherished Gram to Jayson Hill (Lara), Sasha Hill-Smith (Sonny), and Megan Hill Hines (Kevin), she was also a treasured GG to Ashton, Ariel, Maddy, Michael, Matthew, and Nicholas. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Sheila, Carol, and Denny, and was predeceased by her brother Randy.

Mom taught us countless lessons that will stay with us forever. She believed in the value of hard work, unwavering loyalty to those you love, and kindness above all else. Her favourite saying, "It's nice to be nice," was more than just words—it was how she lived her life and how she encouraged others to live theirs. Mom, have a beer and a cheeseburger for us, and watch over all of us until we meet again.

In keeping with Mom's wishes, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cresmount Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ontario.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. James Lewis and Dr. Beverley Jones for their compassionate care and kindness.
