Peacefully at Wentworth Heights on October 25, 2011 in his 94th year. Survived by wife Evelyn of 66 years. Cherished father of Elaine (Glen), David (Lee Ann), and Brian (Brenda). Will be greatly missed by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Remembered by his two sisters Margaret Wayne and Florence Perdue of British Columbia and sister-in-law Dora Reid (Gordon) of Port Dover and many nieces and nephews. Lee was a member of St. John’s #40 Lodge and camp chairman of Camp Wheeler for the 26th Scout Group for 30 years. He worked at Stelco Canada Works for 38 years. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at Chalmers Presbyterian Church (200 Mountain Park Avenue, Hamilton) on Tuesday November 1st from 10-11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
