Dr. Leonard Gaik

family announces the courageous

passing of a dedicated and selfless

father, grandfather and friend.

Leonard is predeceased by Mary, his

loving wife of 52 years, and his sister

Christine Skarzynski and parents

Gladys and Victor. He will be greatly

missed by children Dr. Natalie Gaik

(Kevin Eggleton), Dr. Pamela Gaik,

and Leonard Gaik Jr. Leonard was a

cherished and loving grandfather to

Serena and Elida, who will miss his

caring presence and the obvious joy

he took in their every endeavour,

large and small. He will also be sadly

missed by the Streker family and a

number of special friends: Julia, Dr.

Polgar, Uncle Bill, Alan, Catherine,

Joe and Marg. In over 53 years as

an actively practicing Dentist in the

city of Hamilton, Leonard skillfully,

conscientiously and proudly cared

for countless loyal patients, many

of whom were multi-generational

families. Visitation will be at

Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020

Upper James Street, Hamilton, on

Monday, February 23rd, from 6-9 p.m.

Rosary Monday evening at 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Ann's

Catholic Church, 11 Wilson Street

West, Ancaster, on Tuesday, February

24th at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers,

donations to any of the Cancer

Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation,

the Lung Association or the S.P.C.A.,

are welcome.
