Peacefully with family by his side on December 6, 2015 in his 94th year. Predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Stones and by his second wife Dorothy Hounsome. Loving father to Marilynn Ward and Valerie Palmateer (Dave) and step father to Donna Karn, Janice Knippel, the late Lynn and the late Wayne. He will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Mildred Richardson and predeceased by brother Edward and sisters Anne, Mazie, Elizabeth, Elsie and Irene. He will be dearly missed by all his extended family and friends. Len was a proud WWII veteran and was employed with Meakins & Sons and then eventually retiring from Stelco. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the chapel followed by interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
