Born in Casiguran, Aurora Province, Philippines, Leticia was a woman of remarkable intelligence, strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. She was blessed with a brilliant mind and a generous heart, touching the lives of many through her wisdom, warm personality, and willingness to serve others.
A devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, she faithfully dedicated much of her life to serving God and her church family. Through her many contributions, including her service as secretary, treasurer, and in other church responsibilities, she demonstrated her commitment to ministry and her love for the Lord. Her dedication went beyond the positions she held; she served with a willing heart, a joyful spirit, and her beautiful, ever-present smile.
To many, she was more than a church member. She was a spiritual mother—someone who offered encouragement, guidance, and a loving presence. Her faith was reflected in the way she welcomed people, cared for others, and made them feel at home.
Above all, Leticia treasured her family. She loved staying at home, surrounded by the people dearest to her. Together with her beloved husband, who often prepared the meals, she created a home filled with love, warmth, and togetherness. While her husband enjoyed cooking, she delighted in inviting people over, sharing their home, and making others feel welcome. Her home was not just a place for her family; it was a place where friendship, fellowship, and love flourished.
She was the heart of the household—the strong, dependable woman who carried so many responsibilities and helped keep her family together. Her love was shown not only through words but through countless acts of care, sacrifice, and devotion.
Leticia Leonardo Oca leaves behind her beloved husband, Paulino Oca, their four children Aldwin, Clarivelle (Eric), Ernell John (Mylene), and Miraflor (Jonathan), and six cherished grandchildren, Bryan Paul, Precious Bianca, Cliff Daniel, Jonalyn Mae, Francheska Janelle, and Nathan Paul Dominic who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her family was her pride and joy, and the love she poured into their lives will continue through the generations.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the memories of her gentle smile, brilliant mind, generous spirit, steadfast faith, and loving heart will remain with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in her family, her church, and the many lives she touched through her service and kindness.
We grieve her passing, but we do not grieve without hope. We hold on to the blessed promise of Jesus Christ and the hope of the resurrection, trusting that one day, by God’s grace, we will meet again.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at Living Word Ministries, 79 South Bend Road East, Hamilton on Monday, October 19, 2026 from 9 am until the start of the Funeral Service at 10:30 am. Cremation will follow at Bayview Crematorium, 740 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, Ontario.
Rest in God’s loving care, dear Leticia Leonardo Oca, until that glorious morning when our Lord calls His faithful children home.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Your love, your faith, and your beautiful smile will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.
