It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lilian due to complications from Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Tom Hallson. Loving and cherished mother to her two daughters Amanda (Pieter) and Jacqueline. Much loved sister to Roseann (Ken) Morris and Leonard (Joy) Chappell. Loved daughter of her predeceased parents Leonard and Lilian Chappell. Lilian will be forever missed by her many nieces and nephews in England and close family in Canada, Maureen and Vicki and the late Bill Westall and Susan, Mark, Molly and Sean Lavallee. Lilian was born in England and came to Canada with her husband the same year they were married in 1957. Lilian was a kind, beautiful, intelligent lady who loved her family and friends. Her family would like to thank Macassa Lodge Nursing Home for their love and care of Lilian. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday Jan 7th from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Macassa Lodge Nursing Home in Lilian's honor would be appreciated by her family.
