Johnston, Lillian Marie Peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at Macassa Lodge Nursing Home in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Johnston. Dearest mother of Bill Johnston (Dianne). The absolute best grandmother in the world to Sharlene (Tim) and Tricia (Tony). Dearest great gram to Evan. She is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Eva Evans and by her brothers Ralph Earl "Bud" Evans and Jack Evans (Marg). She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law, Kathleen Evans and by her several nieces and nephews. Lillian and her husband were the owners of Dominion Clothing on Ottawa St. North and were long-time members of St. Columba Presbyterian Church. A special thanks to the staff in C2 West at Macassa Lodge for their profound compassion and care. Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday March 6th at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel followed by interment in Barton Stone Cemetery.
