Linda Mary Groves

Linda Groves passed away in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton. Beloved wife for nearly 32 years of Peter Groves. Predeceased by her parents Nora and John Redden. Linda was the oldest of eight siblings, and was predeceased by her brother Russell, as well as brothers-in-law Albert and Brad. She will be dearly missed by her surviving siblings James, Wendy, John, Kathleen, Frank, and Geoffrey.

Linda was well-loved at the Hamilton Mennonite Church and other community organizations. She was a dedicated contributor to and host of the Women’s Adult Bible Study which provided her much comfort and wonderful memories.

Linda was known for her sense of humour and readiness to laugh. She was a resilient woman, and was encouraged by Peter and her community to enjoy life to the fullest.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at the Hamilton Mennonite Church, 143 Lower Horning Road, Hamilton, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
