Ljubica Rimac

After a courageous battle, passed away at home on March 8, 2014 at the age of 67. Reunited with her beloved husband Jozo (2001) and son Mirko (1999). Cherished mother of Matija Mlinaric (Christopher), Suzie Rimac ,Krunoslav Rimac (Valentina) and by daughter in law Lori Rimac of Chicago. Loving Baka of Stefani, Christina, Olivia, Josef, Maximir and Mirko. Ljubica will forever live on in the hearts of her brother Ivic Peric (Milka) and family of Hamilton, sisters; Krista Lukac (Ivo), Janjusa Dzaja (Jakov), brothers; Jakic Peric (Manda), Bosko Peric (Iva) and their families in Croatia. Dear sister in law to Stipe Rimac (the late Ruza), Vatroslav Rimac (Andelka), Marko Rimac (Luca) and their families in Hamilton, and by sister in law Janja Kujundzija and family of Croatia. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia, U.S.A and Australia. Family and friends are in welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Vigil prayers on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 9:30am. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Croatian Sports and Community Centre of Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
