Louise Cervini

To the woman who gave her everything; her love, kindness, compassion, caring, and respect to her family, friends, and all others whom she had come to meet. It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the passing of a very special, very dear, loving, and caring mother, Louise Cervini (nee Rizzo).

She is predeceased by her equal in life, Sante Cervini (September 18, 1932 – July 22, 2021). She will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Frank, Mike, Teresa and Frank Valla, Nick and Margaret Cervini, and Diana and Domenic Foti. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Talisa, Shauna, Nicholas, Michael & Chelsea, Caterina & Matthew, Vanessa & RJ, Santino, Sherry and Brian, Miranda, Justin and Chantelle and great-grandchildren, Alexis Grace, Leia Rey, Hannah, Chiara, Leo, Madelynn-Rose, Nico and Matteo. She will also be whole-heartedly missed by her caregiver, known as her special angel, Juliet.

In her younger years, she enjoyed being a member of the Women's Marconi Social Club, and she truly enjoyed her bingo nights out with her children. Louise was actively involved in St. Eugene's Parish, working in the rectory and volunteering with the Catholic Women's League. She had a heart as big as the universe whereby she had a 24/7 open door policy at the family home and welcomed everyone with love and kindness. She will be greatly missed by all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the pleasure to know her.

Louise's family would like to thank all the staff at Wentworth Lodge who cared for her over the last few years and to her special private caregivers who previously loved and cared for Louise.

Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton for visitation on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene's Parish, 232 Queenston Road, Hamilton, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
