With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Lucia “Adelina” Petta after a lengthy illness. Lucia was a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed by her husband Gaetano, son Pasquale “Pat” and daughter Filomena who loved her with all of their hearts. She will also be missed by family in Canada, Italy, Argentina and Australia. She will live on forever in our hearts. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
