Miss Margaret (Rita) Latimer

Born March 22, 1912

On Thursday November 6, 2008 in the arms of an angel, Rita passed on to her new life. At 96 Rita was still a sharp, unselfish servant to her faith, family, friends and anyone who crossed her path. God and Rita decided it was time to be reunited with her parents Barbara and Andrew Latimer, sister Jessie, brother Andy, Jack and his wife Stance. Rita was small in stature but a giant source of wisdom, humour and love. She was an employee at Westinghouse where she was a supervisor, starting at age 16 until retirement and many lifetime friends were made as a result. We love you Aunt Rita…sister-in-law Laura Latimer, nieces and nephews Barbara and Tim Morrison, Linda Shaw, Andy Latimer, Vincent and Barbara Latimer, Laura Welch, Sheila and Terry McClure, Linda and Bill Hutchings, Valerie and Bruno Milano, Shirley and Bob MacBeath, Brian Latimer and Jackie and Jerry Dunn and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), on Monday November 10, 2008 from 11 am until 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
