It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marian on July 28, 2014 at the age of 75. Dear husband of Stella. Loving father of Natalie and Stefan. Marian will be sadly missed by his brother Edward (Sabina) and their children Darius and Roman, his sister-in-law Teresa Ostrowski and her son Rick, relatives and friends. Marian was a dedicated employee of Dofasco with 42 years of service, active in the Knights of Columbus and longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Roman Catholic Church, 8 St. Ann Street, on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
