Mariana Boric

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mariana Boric at the young age of 44. She will be greatly missed by her husband Tomislav and her two children Ante and Adriana Boric. Sadly survived by her loving parents Pavo and Zdravka Dominkovic, her sister Ana Medved, brother-in-law Mike Medved with nieces Iva and Marina and nephew Luka. Mariana will also be dearly remembered by her in-laws Mike and Sanda Boric, sister-in-law Sonya Kobe, brother-in-law Steve Kobe with niece Katarina and nephew Dean. She will also be missed by her extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins and Kumovi in the GTHA, Calgary, Germany and Croatia. Mariana had a magnetic personality that made her many valued friendships. She loved her family and enjoyed hosting and celebrating family milestones. Family was most important to her, driven by her strong Roman Catholic faith. A very special thank you to Father Marko Stefanec, Ana Juraj and Bozica Petrovic from our Holy Cross Croatian Church for their spiritual support. Thank you to the McNally House in Grimsby for their utmost care and sensitivity. Donations can be made to Holy Cross Croatian Church. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, December 20 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
