Marilyn Newell Fowler

Passed away Wednesday December 17th, 2014 in her 83rd year. Born in Smith Falls, Ontario, predeceased by father and mother Harold and Gladys Weekes and sister Evelyn Baliko. Beloved mother of Tom Worsley and Judy Worsley (John Dawson). She will be greatly missed by granddaughters Robyn (Jesse) and Laura Dawson. Marilyn was overjoyed to welcome her great-granddaughter Ivy to our family last year. Predeceased by partner Daniel Kislenko. Special "Ma" to Marie Clark and Ben Stewart and Ma to many. Marilyn will also be missed by her friends at Featherstone Point. Marilyn worked proudly as a school bus driver for Attridge Transportation for 17 years and enjoyed her vacation spots at West and East Lakes, Scotland and Featherstone. She always had cats in her life. Most recently, Amber, Tigger, Elfie and Lulu. We wish to thank staff at The Carlisle Retirement Home, the CCAC staff and the many devoted PSWs who supported Marilyn in Featherstone and Burlington. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2014, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton.
