Mario Di Carlo

Beloved husband of Silvia for 59 wonderful years. Cherished father of Nello, and Cinzio (Belinda). Proud Nonno of Andrew and Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Cecilia and Nello and brother Pierino. Survived by his siblings Giovanni, Franco, Ettore, Maria, and Franceschina. Mario will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Born in Rome, he came to Canada in 1965 where he and Silvia raised their family in Hamilton. He was an exceptional cook, avid gardener, a loving husband, Nonno and friend. He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation is restricted to a specified number of attendees, due to Covid 19, masks are required. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Food for Children would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
