Quietly passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. God could not be everywhere and therefore He gave us our Mother. Marion was a generous, giving woman who enjoyed baking goodies for every family occasion, music, reading and shoes (lots and lots of shoes). Marion is predeceased by her husband Peter (2001), grandson Michael (2000) and son-in-law Brian (2016). Left with the gift of great memories and the love of family are her daughters Bonnie Robertson (Gary), Linda Syberg (Al), Mary Obermaier (Rolfe), Maggie Geiss (Mike), grandchildren Steffanee Barnes (Ben), Breeanne Robertson (Greg), Eddie Obermaier (Lija), Ryan Paquette, Kyle Paquette, Dale Geiss and Mark Geiss, great-grandchildren Elijah and Darian Barnes, sister Dorathy Smith, brother Ted Neilson, sister-in-law Margaret Robinson and many nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Idlewyld Manor. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a graveside service on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery (Section 9), 700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington. Bowling at Sherwood Lanes to follow. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice
