On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Marion died peacefully at Emmanuel House. Loving wife of the late Joseph “Babe” Moore (1989). Beloved mother and grandmother of daughters Judi Pitt and Diane (Paul) Tyhurst, and grandsons Marc and Michael (Keri) Belisario. A retired employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia (Main Branch, Hamilton) and a Life Member of the Lady Hamilton Club, Marion cherished her family, treasured her friendships, and was fiercely proud of her “North End roots”. The Family will receive friends at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. E., Hamilton on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church (where Marion was a Lector), 129 Hughson St. S., on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow. If so desired, donations in her name may be made to Emmanuel House, the Cancer Assistance Program, or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank everyone at Emmanuel House who helped to make these past two weeks peaceful and comfortable for our mother and grandmother. Her smiles said it all.
