Gallant – Mary Emily “Millie” Peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Alzheimers at Parkview Long Term Care on Monday May 14th 2012 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Alphonse for over 65 years. Loving mother of Jim (Lorraine), Rose Head and Judy Maybury (Art). Cherised grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She will be dearly remembered by her two sisters Marguerite and Geralda. Millie is going home to the Lord to join her parents Alban and Milda, grandson James “J.J.” and many other family. A long time member of the St Josephs Church C.W.L. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm with vigil prayers at 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Josephs Church (260 Herkimer) on Thursday May 17th 2012 at 11am. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
