OBITUARY
Mary Emily Judith Maybury
20 September, 1949 – 18 January, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our hero, Judy Maybury on January 18, 2021 at the age of 71.
We take great comfort in knowing that she has gone to be reunited with her beloved parents Emily and Alphonse Gallant.
She was a devoted wife, and she will be greatly missed by her husband of 30 Years, Arthur Maybury.
Beloved mother to Melissa Jambrovic and her “favourite” son in law Billy and loving nana to Zoey and Tyson who were her pride and joy.
Judy is also survived by her siblings Jim Gallant (Lorraine) and Rose Head as well as her nieces, great nieces and nephews.
Judy loved her family and friends, loved to bake especially when doing so with her grandchildren, loved music and loved to dance. She loved life!
She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She had a wonderful support system in all of her friends (and there were many).
Her family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who were involved in her care both in and out of the hospital.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 Restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

I met Judy at the Elim Ladies Retreat over 20 years ago. She sat at my table and I thought, this lady is a lot of fun and that, she was!
She loved Anne of Green Gables and called me Anne and I called her Diana. We had a lot of adventures together and lots of laughs.
Judy never let her blindness stop her from experiencing all that life had to offer and she was an inspiration to everyone that met her.
I miss my dear friend but I know she is with the Lord and can see all the splendor of Heaven!
My deepest sympathy to Art, Melissa, Billy, Zoey, Tyson and other family members.

Judy was like a mom to me as she always cared and looked after me when I was a young child, but I always thought of her as my big sister. I have great memories with her and she will truly be missed but at the same time she will now be with her mom and dad. My sympathy to Art, Melissa and the family. Love John. XXX

Judy—I will always remember how you loved to laugh, you loved to sing and dance, and you loved sharing stories about your family. ❤️The way you talked with so much pride and love about Zoey and Tyson. All your shopping trips with your favourite son in law Billy and maybe even secret stops at McDonald’s on the way home😉. The stories you shared about your daughter Melissa and how you were so proud of her and all she did for you and her family!
I have many stories and memories about our time together Judy, and we shared many laughs, often until our belly and sides hurt! I will never forget the time we were on our women’s retreat in Peterborough at Elim when you jumped on the trampoline! You really would try anything!
I will miss you my friend!😢But I know with all my heart you are dancing your feet off and enjoying all the sights that heaven has to offer!❤️

My memories of Judy ..her laughter...her dancing ..and her joy in life ...I will always remember the passion she had for P.E.I the birthplace of both her mother and father...took several trips with her and Art to the Island ..she thoroughly enjoyed every minute of those trips so I know as she winged her way to heaven she probably made a quick stop in P.E.I.
