Fighting to the end, it is with sadness the family announces the death of champion bridge player Joyce Mortimer on March 26, 2011. Predeceased by husband Pat (1988). Joyce will be missed by daughter Joy Root, son’s Doug and Mike (Lynn) Mortimer. Missed by grandchildren Steve Mortimer, Erin VanBussel (Eric), Celena Mortimer, Brad and Patrick Root. Sister of Joan Reeve, and David Howard. Will also be missed by Barkley. With great appreciation we thank the staff at Willowgrove Long Term Care for their care of Joyce over the past number of years. Visitation will take place at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Tuesday March 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private interment at a later date.
