Mary Wannamaker

She was called up to Heaven in the early morning of Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to join God, her beloved parents and siblings, and her favourite St. Nicholas, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.

Born in Pansy, Manitoba, Mary lived a life defined by love, generosity, and devotion. She was the beating heart of the family, always putting others before herself, and that selfless spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a devoted mother, she nurtured her three daughters with unwavering care, patience, and unconditional love. As a cherished grandmother, she brought the same selfless care, joy and warmth into every moment, creating treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren forever.

Mary is predeceased by her husband James and survived by her daughters Lorrie Ann, Debbie (Darren) Richarz and Cindy (Jim) McArthur and her grandchildren Luke, Samantha, Quinn, Sean, Alexandra, and her brother Steve (Irene) Zulak who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a shining example of love, sacrifice, and devotion.

A small family service will be held, and the family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations might be made to The Wentworth Lodge (Dundas, ON) in honour of her giving nature.

Her love will live on in all of us, but she will be so very sadly missed.
