Maureen & Mark Blake

Suddenly as the result of a tragic accident on August 8th, 2010.

Beloved wife and son of Gary Blake. Much loved mother and brother of Matthew Blake and Jessica Blake-Murphy (Gerard). Cherished sister and nephew of Theresa Howell (Angelo Fortino) and Mary Joan MacLeod (Don) and their children, Daniel and Sam and sister-in-law and nephew of Margo, Barb (Rick), Gloria (Pete), Cheryl, Shelley (Brent), Paul, Peter, Mark (Linda), Timmy (Wendy) and Allan (Sherry). They will be so dearly missed by their many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by parents and grandparents, Jim and Mary Howell and Bill and Eileen Blake. They will also be missed by their four legged pal, Kirby.

Maureen loved her family, reading and crosswords. She never backed down from a good political debate. Maureen loved to laugh.

Mark was an absolute joy in all our lives. He brought love to everyone around him. He was the son that everyone would long to have.

Gone too soon, forever loved and remembered

Their family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate their lives will be held at Annunciation of our Lord Catholic Church, 280 Limeridge Rd. W. on Friday August 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
