It is with the most profound sorrow that Michelina (Michele), lovingly known as Mic, bravely and peacefully passed away to the loving arms of her parents Giovanni and Rosa, brother Vincent (Jimmy) and sister Amalia (Amy) and grandfather, Vincenzo. Left to grieve and remember Michelina, is her remaining sister and best friend, Assunta (Sue) and beloved nephew, Sean. Michelina also leaves behind her furry best friend and little mama, Buffy, who is missing and will miss her mama Mic forever.
Michelina also leaves behind many cousins and relatives, here and in Italy, Venezuela, Australia and Brooklyn, New York including her aunt Teresa in Venezuela, aunt Margaret in Australia, and her aunt Adele in Stoney Creek.
Michelina enjoyed being a legal secretary and loved working for 40 years in various areas but especially in real estate with the last 14+ years at Agro Zaffiro LLP.
Michelina was a loving and kind soul with strong beliefs. She was loved by all and always a source of wisdom and heart. She is and will be, dearly missed forever and beyond. Godspeed my beloved Mic.
A visitation for Michelina will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Eugene Church, 232 Queenston Rd, Hamilton, ON. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON.
In Lieu of flowers, donations made to your local SPCA, Juravinski Cancer Centre, Diabetes Canada, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Canada Liver Foundation, or Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated by her family.
