It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Milka at the Juravinski Hospital, on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in her 87th year. Loving and devoted mother of Danica Jovanovic and Marko “Mark” Jovanovic and his wife Carol. Dear Baba “Bubster” of Ryan and his wife Adriana Carrafiello, Breanne Carrafiello and Mackenzie, Ethan and Matthew Jovanovic. Survived by her brother Mate and his wife Maria Grdovic. Predeceased by her brothers Dominick and Joso. Milka will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Leong and family and friends who have given their love and support to Milka throughout her journey. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
