Ms. Miriam Olive Howard-Smith

At home, surrounded by her family and friends on June 22, 2004 in her 61st year. Loving mother of Megan and Devin Smith. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Olive Howard. Beloved step-daughter of Helen Howard. Loving sister of Murray (Pam) Howard and Gregory (Carole) Howard: step-sister of Carol (Ross)Prince and Bruce (Samantha) Reid. Miriam will be sadly missed by Randy Smith, sister-in-law Joanne Rogers (Wayne), many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. She was a long time employee of the Royal Bank and a member of Christ Church Unity. The family would like to thank all of those who were involved in her care. Family will receive friends at Truscott Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel, 1309 King St. E , Hamilton (at the Delta opposite Gage Park) on Thursday, June 24th from 7-9pm and Friday, June 25th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 26th at Christ Church Unity (21 Rosedene Ave, Hamilton) at 11:00am. Reception will take place at the church followed by interment at Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville. If desired, donations in Miriam's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
