Passed away March 30, 2021, peacefully at home at age 88 with his family by his side.

Beloved husband of the late Stephanie Perozak (nee Samitz), loving father of Michael (Timea), Stephan (Claudine), and Ivanna (Victor), dear brother of the late Helen Smindak, adoring grandfather to Kassondra, Sascha, Matthew, Joseph, and Nicholas, and cherished friend of Nancy Pavlakovic. Born in Fort William, Ontario to parents Anastasia and Michael, Morris was a graduate of McMaster University and Osgoode Hall Law School. Morris dedicated half a century to the legal profession, opening a private law practice in 1959 and later partnering with Winchie and Lennon. As a lawyer, he was known as a fearless advocate, tirelessly hardworking, and demonstrated unwavering civility to everyone he met. He was appointed a Provincial Court Judge in 1982, retiring in 2007. Morris was a leader in the Hamilton community in countless volunteer capacities (Rotary Club, Probus Club, Hamilton Law Association, Ukrainian National Federation, and Ukrainian Professional Business Club). Morris was a gentle soul, a fierce athletic competitor and a loyal friend and confidant to countless people. His love of the outdoors inspired his children and grandchildren to follow his lead. His belief in God was resolute. May his memory be eternal.

Ivanna and family,

Justice Moe Perozak was a true gentleman, in all senses of the word, a gentle man and gentleman.
I cherished the time we worked as colleagues, and the lunch conversations we had after his retirement when he worked per diem in Brampton. His work ethic was amazing, and he was always a pleasure to be with and work with.
He knew that I knew Ivanna, and was sure to keep me up to date with family stories.
May you draw comfort from your memories of this wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather.

Our deepest condolences to the Perozak family. I have many wonderful memories of Cousin Morris while growing up. He lived with our family for a short period while attending McMaster University. While he stayed with us, he used to drive around on weekends in a borrowed convertible which was the envy of my brother and me. I considered him liked an older brother and our family always took great pride in his many achievements throughout his life. He was a man to admire and someone you wanted to emulate. He was a good friend to so many people and I am fortunate to have had him in my family.
One last think I should mention…. No one, and I mean no one, could wear a tuxedo like Cousin Morris. He looked fantastic! James Bond, eat your heart out!

Our deepest condolences and all our love to the Perozak family. Morris was a dear friend to my parents but was also my godfather, and he took his role very seriously. He never forgot a birthday or Christmas and I remember fondly our time together throughout my childhood. I also always looked up to him as a member of the legal profession and believe he was likely one of the reasons I pursued the law myself.

A great man and a life well lived. He will be missed.
