Muriel (Morrison) Freeland

She was predeceased by her husbands Alexander Maclean Morrison (1998) and John Moyer Freeland (2011).

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Fiona and Elspeth, grandson James (Selena), and great-grandchildren Aria and Roen. She will also be fondly remembered by extended family, including Mashell and Anita, and the many friends she made over the years.

The family wish to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital - Bishop Dowling 4CTU, Juravinski Tower - Palliative Suite for their support and care.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will take place at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 3 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family (as there were too many that she supported over her life to suggest just one).
