Muriel Ruth Wheeler

Promoted to glory January 14, 2015 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late John (Jack) Wheeler (March 3, 1999). Predeceased by her son John Alan Wheeler (October 6, 2013), parents James and Violet Lees, and sisters Rose Halford and Joyce Morris. Loving mother of Jim (Carol), Jo-Anne Dowell (Dennis), Susan Locke (Robert), Susan Wheeler, Robin Michalak (Brian). Beloved grandmother to Julie (Dean), Janet (Pat), Karen, Jack (Rachael), Samantha (Carmen), Lisa (Mark), Robin (Richard), Heather (Jamie), Kristy (Matt), Jonathan, Michelle (Dave), Jennifer (Brian), Jessica (Ray), Christopher and Alexander. Great grandmother to Nigel, Daria, Alika, Kali, Kayla, Tyler, Jesse, Emma, Abigail, John, Samantha, Kaitlynne, Nicholas, Gabriella, Owen, Grayson, Leo, John, Avery, and Ivy. Will be greatly missed by her pet and beloved companion Mandy. Survived by her brother-in-law Len Morris and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver Rosemary Kinsella and the staff at CCAC. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. At her request, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
