Naomi was born in England, and raised in Ireland, coming to Canada in 1954. She lived a life marked by faith in Jesus and deep devotion to her family. She loved to knit, camp, and beat everyone on game night.
In 1963, Naomi married her caring husband, Jack, and has been his loving wife for 63 years. Predeceased by her Parents, Violet Mary and James Walter Fitzell. The sister of Alan (Arlene) Fitzell and Valerie Fitzell. The loving mother of four children—Cheryl Horning (Glenn), Michele de Jonge (Harald), Rob Bowman, and Rachel Bowman. She was also a cherished Nana to wonderful grandchildren: Jillian (Dixon), Jonathan, Elijah, Hannah, Nathan, Syrus, Natasha, and Edyn, and a step-Nana to Lucas and Kaitlyn.
She will be missed by relatives from far and near, and many friends from West 5th Bible Chapel and Joy Bible Camp. Naomi touched the lives of those who had the honour of knowing her. She was deeply compassionate, generous, hospitable and always willing to help others. She was a Mom to many.
Because He lives, Naomi is now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour.
Our sincere thanks to those who cared for her at home, in hospital, and at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Donations to Bob Kemp Hospice or Joy Bible Camp are welcome.
