Nikola Stefanac

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nikola Stefanac, a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished Didi, who left us on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born in Croatia on October 17, 1950, Nikola lived a life rich in love, family, and friendship.

Nikola was a man whose heart was as vast as his spirit. He was a devoted husband to Manda, with whom he shared a deep and abiding love. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and countless cherished memories. As a father, Nikola was a guiding light, nurturing his children with wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support. His love for Mary (Steve) Zvonar and Slavko (Kira) Stefanac, was boundless, and he took immense pride in their achievements and happiness.

As a beloved Didi, Nikola brought joy and laughter to his grandchildren, Gabriella, Zoe, Emma and Nikola, creating a special bond that will forever be treasured. His playful nature and gentle guidance made him a source of comfort and inspiration for them, and his legacy will live on in their hearts.

Nikola is also survived by his dear sisters, Anica Bacic (late Ante Bacic) and Ruzica (Josip) Pavlovic, who will miss him dearly. He held a special place in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, Nikola remained deeply connected to his Croatian roots, sharing stories and traditions that enriched the lives of those around him.

Nikola's warmth, kindness, and personality will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. East, Hamilton, from 6-8 pm, where family and friends will gather to honour his memory and share the many stories that reflect the remarkable man he was.
