The Busnello family are sad to announce the passing of Paolino surrounded with the love of his family, at the Juravinski Hospital on February 14, 2014 at the age of 78. His sense of humour, courageous spirit and devotion of family carried him through his battle with cancer. Reunited with his beloved wife Maria (nee Viviani), cherished daughter Caterina “Catia”, and sister Antoinetta. Survived by his loving sons Tony (Debbie), Patrizio (Michelle), Loris and Paolo (Kelly). Adored Nonno to his 7 grandchildren; Mallory, Alexandrea, Matthew, Lucas, Ryan, Ariana, Adam and great grandson Vincent Porter. He will live on in the hearts of his brother Pietro (Giovanna) of Hamilton, sister Anna Maria of Italy, brother Giovanni of Australia, and many nieces, nephews and their families. Lino was a talented and accomplished carpenter and an avid soccer fan. He was proud of his Italian heritage, and most proud to be a Trevisian. A long and dedicated member of the Hamilton Chapter – Trevisani Nel Mondo. Lino will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and staff at St Joseph’s Hospital and Juravinski Hospital C3 for their exemplary and compassionate care. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 5-9pm. Vigil Prayers on Tuesday at 8:45pm.
