Treasured grandmother of Greg & Mei, Mike & Barb, Victoria & Matthew, Philip & Heather, Gordon, Andrew, Alexandra & Corey, Lindsay, Lauralai, Mallory & Neil, and Kenny. Cherished great-grandmother of Ethan, Myra, Alexander, Ruby, Claire, Amelia, Finnian and Isaac, who brought her enormous joy. She is survived by her sisters and brother Ruthann Campbell (Jim), Linda Ferguson and Jim Wood (Donna), sister in-law Mary Ellen Hazell and brothers-in-law Jack Smith and Ken Rodgers. Predeceased by her parents Vera & James Wood, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Burdiak (Jim), Mary Petrie (Jim), Margaret Keegan (Dave), Barbara Smith, Norman Ferguson and Frank Smith, Jim Hazell, Vida Rodgers, Lawrence & Dorothy Smith and Fred & Rosemary Smith. Pat will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many dear friends. Growing up on the Wood family farm on Mohawk Road, our mom came from a very close family of six sisters and one brother (she was the second eldest) and she loved telling stories from her childhood about all the escapades of her sisters and brother. Once she married our Dad, her life became another wonderful adventure of raising five kids and enjoying our Dad’s well-known antics. They built a home filled with warmth, fun, and mischief. After the passing of our Dad, she travelled with her friends and she dedicated herself to her children and grandchildren, finding joy in every moment spent with us and she loved watching us grow. She had a heart that welcomed all, and her home was filled with love, stories, and shared memories. Though we mourn her loss, we are comforted by the legacy of the love she leaves behind.
