Life goes so quickly. Dignity Memorial sent me a reminder this morning. I can't believe it's been a year already. The very first thought I had as I noticed the message was an image of Paul smiling and laughing. His shared perspective on so many things had a significant effect on me. Just last week I mentioned to my son I hope his children remember more than a photo of me, and that I'm smiling, like when I think of Paul.

Paulo was my first buddy and best buddy in Ontario after I moved here in 1980 from the East Coast. I just found out today of his passing. He was an amazing person and the best of friends. We shared many memories together buddy and I will miss you for ever.

Paul was my workplace brother. He beamed with pride and love when talking about his home life, the kids, and Jen. Paul had a great smile and a knack for sharing or recounting stories that made people laugh. I have many wonderful memories of Paul and found him to be intelligent, trustworthy, respectful, and genuinely kind. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and cherished network of friends and colleagues. Paul’s presence will be greatly missed.

Sincerest condolences to Jen, Liz and Noah on Paul's passing. Shelley and I are very saddened by this terrible news. Paul was the first person that I recruited in 1999 to help me to design and build the software that became Doc.It. I spent over twelve years working with Paul and greatly admired his dedication to his family and his work.  Without Paul, I am certain that Doc.It would not have achieved the success that it did. I hope that Paul's family will find comfort from the great memories that they will retain forever.

Paul was the first person to hire me out of university, at Doc.It. We worked together for several years. I remember how much Paul loved his family. My sincere condolences to Paul's family and relatives.

I was saddened to hear this news.  Paul was my manager at Doc.It for many years.  I learned many things from working with him. He was a great guy and loved his family.  My sincere condolences to Jen and family.

I worked with Paul at Doc.It and he was always very calm and kind. Great guy. We missed him when he left the Company and I was very shocked and saddened to hear this news. He talked about his son often. My condolences to the family.

My cousin Paul was an amazing man and very much like a Brother to me. We are so saddened by this loss, words are difficult to come by. My Brother you will be forever in my heart and I cherish our last late night conversation. Rest in Peace. My heartfelt condolences to Jennifer, Liz and Noah.

Paul and I became instant friends from the first time we met.  I truly miss him.  I’ve shared too many good times to count with Paul.  He was brilliant, honest and kind.  He loved his family more than anything.  Paul, Noah and Jen treated me like family.  I wish he could’ve had a little more time.  My deepest condolences to Jen, Noah, Liz and family.

I've known Paul since 2003. Condolences to everyone who loved Paul. What I'll remember most about him is his sense of calm and his perspective on what was important to him. We spent many hours talking about work and also about life & family, both the good times and the difficult ones. One of the really important things he taught me a lesson about was the importance and value of staying positive. If I could talk to him right now I'm sure he would find a way to remind of that along with the value of having gratitude for tomorrow. It's an opportunity to remember his wisdom and also all the times we had a few drinks and got silly. It always makes me smile. See you on the other side, brother.
