Pavlos "Paul" Pierias

Peacefully, at home in his sleep Paul, a dear husband, father and papa passed away on September 29, 2014. Sweet, loving husband and best friend to Nancy. Amazing, devoted father to Grace (Stephone), Peter, Brandon Page (Sarah), Brianne Crockett (Josh), Angela Wheatley (Nolan) and Julie (Gordon). Papa to Olivia, Lauchlin, Vivienne and Kaley. Brother to Flora Dixon (Don) and Nicholas (Shelley). Nephew to Tom and Betty Pirsias, Ioakim and Sophie Pierias and Dimitria Dimtses. Uncle to Joe, Mike, Richard (Myra) and Andrew (Loreli). Paul enjoyed his early retirement from Stelwire, golfing, baseball (Hamilton Old Sports Association), travel, band night with the boys and hiking the Bruce Trail with his dog Roxy. His love of handyman work and cooking was rivaled only by his love for his family. Friends will be received at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the delta) on Thursday, October 2 from 7-9p.m. and a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 3 at 11 am. with visitation one hour prior.
