Peter (Perica) Bago

Perica was predeceased by his beloved parents, Pero and Manda Bago. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by his brothers Ivan (Debbie), Veljko (Dragana), and Svetan. As Striko Pete, he was a guiding light and a source of joy to his nephews Nicholas (Jessica, children Madeline and Joseph), Peter (Lindsey, child Liliana), Mathew (Meaghan), Robert, and his nieces Katarina Banda (Damir) and Diana. His warmth and humour will be fondly remembered by his extended family and a wide circle of friends in Ontario, Croatia and Hercegovina.

Perica’s spirit touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts. As we gather to celebrate his life, let us hold dear the moments we shared with Perica and find comfort in the knowledge that he is reunited with parents.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, April 27 from 4-8 pm with Prayers at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
