Peter Alan Barkwell

With great sadness, we announce the death of Peter at the Juravinski Hospital on February 9, 2013, at age 58. Much loved husband and best friend to Chris and father to Charity, Alexandra, Gordon and Sam. He will be remembered with affection and respect by his siblings, Bob, John, Glenda and Elaine, their spouses, and by a large extended family.

We all feel gratitude for the life of Peter and thank him for his intelligence, integrity, generosity, dignity and his love for his family. Peter bore all that had befallen him with grace. We will all miss him and are better for having had him in our lives. He holds a place forever in our hearts.

Our heartfelt thanks to the excellent and caring staff at the Juravinski Hospital, and to the many friends and colleagues who grieve with us.
