Beloved husband of Beverly for 59 years. Loving father of Michelle (Robert) and Shawn (Christina). Cherished Papa of Emma and Ethan. Richard will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his three sisters, four brothers and his parents Morris and Muriel Howard.
Richard retired from Canadian Linen where he worked for many years in sales. During retirement he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Richard was incredibly proud to be a father, especially a grandfather.
Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton for visitation on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 11-1 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington. If so desired, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
