When I saw this obituary (by shear accident on June 18), I was shocked and it brought immediate tears to my eyes. I am very sad at Rick's passing (I have not seen Rick for a very long time). My deepest and loving condolences to Jayne, Ed, Susan and Wendy and the rest of the family.

I will think of you Rick every day and of all the good times we had together and boy there were many. Time will move on but I will never forget you . Rest in peace

Dear Jayne, Christopher and Richard. I was saddened to hear of Ricks passing he was such a kindhearted generous genuine man. I have many fond memories being at your house.I will never forget him. He always made me laugh. And boy..could he cook..always a big feast at Rick and Jaynes house. We lived down the street from the Pawlowskis's when they lived on Barnsdale Avenue.  Many a great afternoon was spent hanging out with Rick.  We lost touch after the family moved and I ran into Rick periodically over the years in and around the Hamilton area. I was surprised when I heard the news through a mutual friend.  So sad.  My sincere condolences.  Gain comfort in knowing Ricks journey is not over, it is just beginning.

Rick will be sadly missed by all of us! He was the type of friend that would do anything for you, including my husband when he was locked out of his place of work.
