I am sorry to hear of the passing of Bob.  I was away on vacation and upon coming back to work, I heard of this news.  Bob was a nice man.

Dear Sandy .... I  think that the essence of Bob Muir is captured in many of the condolences written here.  He was a true gentleman, a truly nice man, an organizer, a good Dad and great Husband a friend and fellow dog lover.  We who were privileged to have known him, will keep his memory alive when we're sitting around a campfire with guitars playing, looking into the starry sky and hearing his laugh, and the soft strums of his guitar, remembering those days long ago.  Those were the best of times ... our kids grew up there, we laughed and cried there, and had so much fun.  When we think of our days at the Hideaway, we will remember Mr. Bob with true respect and fondness.  Sandy, I know it's been many years, but please know that you and your family are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. Sandy.. and family.  I met Bob when he first became a policeman, and I always enjoyed his sense of humour. I am sad to hear of Bob's passing.  Bob was a quiet, sincere and genuine co-worker on the Police Dept. . He truly was one of the good guys.  My memories of Bob go back to walking the beat and include our mutual interest in dogs. He will be missed.
