It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bob Plenderleith on October 5, 2017 at age 65. He was a caring and patient man, wonderful father and friend to many. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and stories that he would share about his life. He also had a great love of gardening and enjoyed having a green thumb. He is predeceased by his first wife Heather (Harris) and son Alan Scott. He is survived by his son Bobby (Jenn), grandsons Rhys and Riley, sister Elaine Gallagher and second wife Elaine (Chrystman). He was a proud teacher to countless students throughout his years working with the Hamilton Public Board of Education. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main St. E. (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton on Thursday, October 12th between 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM. A memorial service will held on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 11 AM at Marlatt Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
