Surrounded by his family at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on August 9, 2014 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Cranfield) for 47 years. Loving father of Chris (Wendy) and John (Katrina). Cherished grandpa of Haley, Dayna, Cassie and T.J. Great-grandpa of Kenny, Rachelle, Emma, Bowen and Wyatt. Dear brother of Robert, the late Brian and the late Harry. Ron was a retired employee of Dofasco with 35 years of service, a dedicated fan of the Hamilton Ti-Cats and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
