

CAMPBELL, Ronald Anthony - With deep sadness, we announce the death of our beloved husband, father and papa, Ronald Anthony Campbell. Ron died peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 66 surrounded by the love of his family. He will be forever loved and missed by his best friend and soul-mate of 37 years, Dianne (Pacey). Ron was a loving and much loved father of Kellie-Lyn Alves (Rick) and Jamie Campbell (Jennifer Quick) and will be sadly missed by the joys of his life, his grandchildren Matthew and Joshua Alves and Lyla and Drew Campbell-Quick. He was predeceased by his parents James and Jeanie Campbell, his brother Jack Campbell and his in-laws Margaret and Clifford Pacey. He is survived by his sisters Pat Moos (Marv), Delores Weil (Rob) and Sue Mooney as well as his sister-in-law Donna Campbell and brothers-in-law Joe Mooney and David Pacey (Hethar), 7 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. He is going to be missed by his furry buddies PITA and Otis.
Ron was a Sheet Metal Tradesman for over 40 years, working for many companies in and around Hamilton, the last 20 years with Branair Ltd., Burlington.
The family will receive friends at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 20 Idlewood Avenue on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Henry Lim, Dr. Marissa Slaven and Michelle and Linda, Dr. Samantha Winemaker, CCAC and our angels Bertha, Lea-Ann and Sarah and to the staff and volunteers of the Juravinski Cancer Centre. To the staff and volunteers of the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice we all thank you for all your caring and compassion. I don't know how we could have gone through this without each of you, especially Ron's "Sweet Pea". We also wish to thank the Priests and Staff of St. Margaret Mary Parish and the Pastors and congregation of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle for their prayers and spiritual guidance. As expressions of sympathy and to honour Ron, the family requests donations be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
