Loving father to Brian (Susan), Glen, Jackie Cushnie (Tim), and Barbra Tucker (Hamilton). Caring grandfather to Bradley, Heather, Maxwell, Matthew, Lydia, Jennifer, Michael, Adam, Jason, and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother to David Gunter (Kim) and brother-in-law to Ray LePoidevin (Cathy). Ron worked as a crane operator, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 for 65 years. He also worked at The Hamilton Spectator. At his request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, an organization that was near and dear to his heart.
