REID, Ronald Peacefully at home on August 3, 2010, in his 72nd year. Survived by his wife Diane and sons Brian and Ken. Ron was a retired employee of the Hamilton General Hospital for 32 years. Ron was a former "Timmy" (1948) for the Easter Seals Society. He was a former Director for Path Employment for the Disabled, a former Director for Junior Achievement and a former Director for Easter Seals Society. He was a proud Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow. The family would like to thank Drs. I. Szilvassy, T. Ryan, D. Marcellus and R. Yang. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Saturday at 3 p.m. If desired donations to the Sunshine Fund of the Rotary Club would be appreciated by the family.
