Rosabelle was the cherished mother of Laura Inabelle, John Derek, and Hero, and the proud grandmother of her only grandson, Derek Phillip. She was a beloved sister to Rhodora, Rosemarie, Rowena, Rodelia, Rebecca, and Edgardo, and is predeceased by her siblings Liberato Jr., Caezar, and Sonny.
Rosabelle will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends in the Philippines, Canada, U.S.A., Paris, Barcelona and Rome —as well as by her dancing partners, with whom she shared so much joy.
Rosabelle worked as a health care worker and will be remembered by those she cared for and worked with as kind-hearted and dependable. Rosabelle will be lovingly remembered for her passion for dancing and cooking, her vibrant spirit, and her flair for fashion—always seen in her signature designer outfits. Known as the life of the party, she had a carefree attitude that brought laughter and light to every room.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital – Charlton and Juravinski Hospital, especially Dr. Choi and Becky, for the exceptional care and support provided to our mother and family during her final days.
Visitation will take place at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth), on Thursday, July 24, 2025 and Friday, July 25, 2025 from 6–9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 129 Hughson St. S., on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10 a.m., with cremation to follow.
Rosabelle’s warmth, joy, and love will be forever remembered by all who knew her.
