She is reunited with her beloved husband, Joseph Sr. (d. 2009) and her loving son, Joseph (d. 1997).
Lovingly remembered by her daughter in-law Karen Haan (Oli) and proud Mama to grandchildren Kelly McKay (Ross), Christine Marits (Chris Romano), and Adam Marits. Great-grandmother to James, Rien, Lyncoln, Karsen, and Savannah.
Rose was born in Hungary; the family immigrated to Canada in the winter of 1956. They settled in Hamilton, where she worked and retired from Mohawk Hospital Services.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting, and usually with a dog at her side. But the most important thing in her life was her family and spending time together.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with private family services.
