In his 90th year, with his beloved wife Iris by his side, Rudi passed peacefully at home to be with the Lord April 29, 2014. Rudi will be profoundly missed by his wife of 62 years, Iris, and daughters Carol (Corry), Susan (Gary), Heidi (Len) and grandchildren Paul (Santina), Matthew (Kailey), Rachel, Josh, Charlene and Erin. Rudi held his family so close in his heart. Rudi was compassionate, thoughtful, honorable and well respected. An avid outdoorsman and traveler who carried a life long thirst for knowledge and desire to be helpful. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday, May 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Winterberry Heights Church, 300 Winterberry Drive., on Saturday, May 3rd at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Winterberry Heights Church would be much appreciated.
