Russ was born in Winchester, Great Britain on September 20, 1950, and immigrated to Canada with his family at a young age. Anyone who knew Russ quickly became acquainted with his undying love and loyalty to his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, through thick and thin. He and Margaret loved to travel to sunny destinations in the winter months, and especially enjoyed sailing in the Caribbean.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Paramedics and staff of the Hamilton General Hospital.
