Having him as my pa was the best thing that’s ever happened to me I wish I could relive it 100 more times. We had so many good and funny memories together that were cut short. I will forever miss our b.r trips  and I’m so lucky to have had him as my pa. He will always have a very special place in my heart.

I have lost one-of the most amazing man I know. He was the one that introduced me to my husband, the best man at our wedding, an uncle to my children and like the brother I never had. I could always count on him to tell it like it was. He was kind, loving and honest. He had a memory like none I have ever known. 
We had a very special relationship that only a very few could understand. He was an amazing, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. In the last days of his life he never was concern about himself only about his family. His family was number one to him. 
Scott Patterson you are gone but will never be forgotten. No words can express the hole you have left in my heart and in the hearts of those that have known you. I love you with all my heart and soul and will miss you so very much my dear friend.

Sherri, Kyle, Kara, Reese and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time with the loss of your beloved husband and father. 
The years pass by quickly and it has been many since I have seen all of you but  you still hold a special place in my heart. 
Scott's enthusiasm for life is shared by the family.  I remember many moments of laughter between us all when we would get together, and many days of hockey life.
Sherri, it was very noticeable how much you adored each other and how much both of you adore your family.  Please take comfort in knowing that his essence will always be with you and that the energy of love can never be destroyed.   Again, my deepest condolences.

When we moved next door in 2018, we quickly knew how lucky we were to have Scott & Sherri as our neighbours. Scott was always there to help us out, since being new homeowners we needed to learn the ropes. As we spent more time together, we learned that Scott was more than a neighbour, he became a dear friend to us and I’ll always remember the laughs and talks we’d have in the backyard or on the front porch. He was witty, charismatic and above all he was a great husband, father and Pa. We will miss you dearly Scott, it won’t be the same without you next door xo

I spent alot of time at the Patterson house growing up. Scott and Sherri always made it feel like a second home. I hadn't seen Scott in many years but I did catch him outside of the beer store 5+  years back and even though I hadn't seen him in ages we talked like old friends.  I remember when Reese and I had our little accident falling down the escarpment, Scott was the first one there and I thought he was going to jump down himself to get us haha. Just showed how much he cared for his family. Caring, Passionate and overall a great man, father and husband. My deepest condolences to Sherri, Kyle, Kara, Reese and the rest of the Patterson family.

I only knew Scott through his sister Kymm’s words, and her words spoke of a wonderful man.  May the good memories of him bring some peace to his family.

As kids we did crazy stuff . i remember when Scott was trying to teach me how to ride a dirt bike . I popped the clutch and ran him over !

I had the privilage to work with Scott at Costco in Burlington.
My fondest memory is going to an ALCS game with Scott on Oct 18, 2016. We had the honor to watch the Jays defeat the Indians. (Their only win of the series.) 
Every time I would see Scott pull up and fill his Mustang at Costco Gas in Stoney Creek, I kept saying we gotta catch another Game together.
 Life is short, glad to see he enjoyed his family. My Deepest Condolences to his wife, kids & grand kids. RIP Scott!
